Channel 4 is dealing with the ire of TV viewers following the information that a common jail drama has been axed.

Starring Derry Girls actress Jamie-Lee O'Donnell, W1A's Nina Sosanya and Silent Witness actor Stephen Wight, Screw premiered in January 2022.

The collection followed a group of staff and prisoners at a male jail, taking inspiration from the show's creator Rob Williams' own experiences of working in prisons.

It's now been revealed by one of the actors in the forged that Screw won't be persevering with after the second collection aired final yr.

Sharing a promotional poster on Instagram, Ben Tavassoli – who played the character Louis Costa – wrote in his caption: 'Unlucky information that this is the place our journey ends for Screw.
