The co-founder of Whole Foods has launched a health and wellness club that costs a cool $50,000 a year to join - and he admits only health-obsessed Los Angeles would buy into it. John Mackey, 70, opened Love.Life - a combination doctor's office, gym, and wellness center - that will allow the richest of society to 'Nourish, Heal, Thrive,' as the motto above the door reads. 'If this idea won't work in LA, it won't work period,' he told The Los Angeles Times.
