The 40-year-old has failed to revive the Jets' fortunes, despite the team firing head coach Robert Saleh and bringing in Rodgers' trusted ally, receiver Davante Adams. Interim head coach Jeff Ulbrich also took play-calling duties off offensive coordinator Nathaniel Hackett in a bid to turn around the Jets' season.
