Lilly Davis, Instagram user @dear_and_darling, speaks exclusively with PEOPLE about her extensive Loungefly collection
She reveals that she started collecting in February 2022 and has since accumulated over 250 Disney-themed backpacks
The influencer also says she's hoping the brand releases a "Princes" collection so she can pair it with her "Princesses" collection
One influencer is going viral for her extensive Disney Loungefly backpack collection.
Lilly Davis, 44, who's best known by her username @dear_and_darling, exclusively tells PEOPLE that she's been collecting Loungeflys since February 2022 and now has over 250 of them, costing her "several thousand dollars."
In late August, she posted Instagram videos sharing a glimpse of some of her loungefly backpacks, showing off her various collections that included villains, Pixar characters, princesses, Christmas-themed pieces, as well as characters from Beauty and the Beast, Snow White, Nightmare Before Christmas, The Haunted Mansion, The Little Mermaid, Alice in Wonderland, Winnie the Pooh, Toy Story and Peter Pan.
The influencer, based in Salt Lake Valley, Utah, tells PEOPLE that the collection began "pretty quickly," because her family was "buying six to eight Loungeflys every time [they] went to Disneyland, which was four to six times a year." She notes that she would usually use three or four of them on a trip.
Her collection began with her Mickey Mouse, so it "holds a special place in my heart." But as for her favorite, she confesses she has "a soft spot" for the three pieces that Loungefly has gifted her. Of the ones she found herself, she says she loves her Daisy Duck Loungefly, because she "had to work harder to get her than any other Loungefly." Adding, "And my Princess cosplay collection. Those are the ones with the faces of the princesses."

She has her eyes set on a green Club 33 Loungefly that she's eager to add to her collection, but she also would like for the brand to "do a line of princes that are similar to the princesses."
Davis also admits that she would like to see a line that featured the Lady and the Tramp characters, because that's the source of her Instagram username.
But she acknowledges that although she loves and adores her collection, and does "view them with great value," they are "just things."
"And things can always be replaced. My family and close friends will always be my most precious and important valuables in this life," she says.
Davis also explains that her appreciation for the Loungefly designs derives from her childhood, sharing that her father is an artist and set designer, and her mother was an interior designer. "I was surrounded in a very aesthetically pleasing environment, where everything was well-appointed and lovely," she says.
She reveals that her parents also "always had a deep appreciation for Disney, because it is so well done." She further explains, "Not only is everything high-quality, but it's also perfectly executed. The architecture, dimensions and color schemes. Everything is stunning. They've created so many different lands and worlds where you truly feel immersed and as though you are existing in these magical places."
The influencer also commends Disney for partnering with Loungefly, because "the designs and quality of their bags fit perfectly within the Disney standard."
"I've tried to model my home, create my Disney looks and run my channel under the same high standard. I strive to be what Disney aims for in that way," she confesses.

Davis tells PEOPLE that she and her husband, Paul, built the display for her Loungefly collection in 2024, which currently only holds half of her collection.
"I had a vision for it, and we had a craftsman come in and build them for us," she says. "They are actually IKEA shelves that we have embellished and built into the wall. We plan to build more all around the rest of the room at some point."
She notes that she has "absolutely" used all of her bags at least once. "There are none I won't use." She adds, "I usually buy them to match a specific Disneybound." (Disneybounding is when fans dress up inspired by Disney characters but use their everyday clothes to achieve the look.)
"It's not normal theme park attire. It's pretty extreme a lot of the time. But that's what makes it fun! The bright colors, the ruffles, the petty coats, the fancy textures and the darling Loungeflys," she says. "I'll wear heels without batting an eye if it will make the outfit pop."
"We get a lot of attention for our Disneybounding because it is so over the top but also so well done." She adds that her children will also participate with more understated looks for their comfort level.

The influencer also notes that her husband enjoys joining in the Disneybounding fun. She credits him because "a lot of guys don't want to be uncomfortable and don't want to be so outrageous in their style of dress."
"I could do it alone, but I think we get twice as much attention because I have a husband who's excited to participate in my antics with me," she says. "He's open to stripes and suspenders and fur collars and hats."
"Disneybounding is for everyone. I know some people look at us with judgment and think we're odd for doing what we do, but I think, for the most part, the emotion we evoke in others is happiness. And that's why I do what I do," she says, before concluding, "I love making other people happy."
