The wife of Kansas City Chiefs quarterback Patrick Mahomes praised the pop superstar after the release of her new album, The Life of a Showgirl, in a sweet tribute post shared to her Instagram Stories on Monday, Oct. 6.
"@taylorswift has done it again! Truly one of the best to ever do it and keep doing it! 🧡," Mahomes, 30, wrote over a photo of a gift box full of items for Swift's 12th studio album.
The package — which came in a glittery orange box embossed with "TS" — included a vinyl copy of The Life of a Showgirl, black and purple graphic t-shirts with the album name and a handwritten note from the 14-time Grammy winner herself.
"Well hi! If you're reading this, you're someone who has shown love, someone I admire, and ultimately someone I'd want to celebrate with as we welcome The Life of a Showgirl into the world. I hope you like these gifts and record! With love, a showgirl named Taylor," reads the note.
Mahomes added Swift's title track, "The Life of a Showgirl," to her Instagram Story. The song, which is the 12th song on the 12-track album, features her friend Sabrina Carpenter.

Mahomes wasn't the only friend to get one of the exclusive boxes — Serena Williams also shared Monday that she was a lucky recipient.
"It's no secret that I am a Swiftie, and I literally screamed when I walked into the house and saw this," the 23-time Grand Slam champion narrated over her video of herself opening a golden box with the initials T.S. written on its top.
"Thank you, Taylor! Olympia is literally going to lose her mind," she said of her 8-year-old daughter, whom she shares with her husband, Alexis Ohanian. "Obviously we loved 'CANCELLED!,' so yay! I'm going to have to record her reaction. She's going to go crazy."

And Mahomes wasn't the only member of her household that was excited for Swift's new album. Her husband, Patrick, also shared his support for his Chiefs teammate Travis Kelce's fiancée ahead of the album release on Friday, Oct. 3.
In an interview on 96.5 The Fan on Oct. 2, the star quarterback said that his team already has their locker room playlist planned out for The Life of a Showgirl's release day.
"I'm super excited," the NFL star said on the eve of the album's debut.
