Singer Annie Bosko's sister ran on stage with Riley Green, though the star did not invite her up

"She said she wanted to 'support my career'… didn't know she meant onstage," Bosko wrote alongside footage of the incident on Instagram

Bosko's sister, whom the singer claimed was drinking, made it within steps of Green before security came out and gestured her off the stage

Riley Green had a guest appear at one of his recent shows — completely by surprise and without permission.

The country music hitmaker, 37, was in the middle of performing his fan-favorite track "There Was This Girl" when fellow singer-songwriter Annie Bosko's sister, Katie Boskovich, seemingly decided it was time to make a special appearance on stage with Green. However, neither the singer nor his team asked her to do so.

"She said she wanted to 'support my career'… didn't know she meant onstage," Bosko wrote alongside footage of the incident shared on Instagram, which showcased her sister in a flowing dress and cowboy hat sauntering onto stage as Green was mid-performance.

Bosko's sister made it within steps of Green before security came out and gestured her off the stage. Still smiling, the confident fan shared a few inaudible words with Green's crew member before dancing off stage to the left with a wave towards Green, who remained focused on performing.

"FYI @rileyduckman didn't invite her up — tequila did ... and there was definitely more than one in her hand. God help me. Apologies team Riley. 🙏🫣," Bosko continued the caption accompanying the footage, shared in a joint post to both her and her sister's Instagram accounts.

In the comments, Bosko's sister further defended her actions: "I was trying to support his career!!!! 😂 also he had no backup dancers and you know how much I love being a backup dancer @anniebosko Can I be your backup dancer????"

Keith Urban's guitarist, Natalie Stovall, shared her take on the situation in the comments as well, writing, "OMG I'm dying." The sentiment was also echoed by fellow country musician Kyler Steven Fisher, who commented "haha" under the footage.
