Courtney B. Vance is becoming a "TikTok superstar" — one video posted to his daughter's account at a time.
On Monday, Oct. 6, the actor, 65, appeared on The Jennifer Hudson Show and spoke about being in his 19-year-old daughter Bronwyn's TikTok videos. Vance, who joked that he's often in a "bathrobe" during the videos, said his kids set him up in one video.
"I come home, got my bathrobe on or something. Just doing something. All of a sudden I look like I'm in a TikTok. How did this happen? And what do I say?" said Vance.

"Oh, this is the one they bring me in and just make me look like a fool," he explained about a video playing during the segment in which the family is dancing. "Oh, they're not going to show this one. I come down, and then everybody stops. They set me up. But it's all good. I'm a TikTok superstar now. She's turned me into a TikTok superstar."
Elsewhere during the segment, Vance spoke about whether his daughter Bronwyn and her twin brother Slater — whom Vance shares with actress Angela Bassett — are following in their parents' acting footsteps.
"They're sophomores, so we don't know. Our son just actually got cast in his first play. Maybe two plays, or something like that," he explained.
"And then our daughter, I think, is going to major in film and sociology," continued Vance. "We're excited for them. We're going to be tickled to see what God's going to do. I don't know. We're just going to support where God leads them. We're excited for them."

While attending the 14th Governors Awards in January 2024, Bassett was joined by husband Vance and their twins Bronwyn and Slater as they posed on the red carpet. The family of four posed for an adorable photo together, with Bassett in the center surrounded by her family.
Bronwyn and Slater stood by each other on the right of their mom, while Vance reached an arm around Bassett and posed on her left.
At the award show, Bassett received an Honorary Oscar for her contributions to the film industry.
