The entire "Peanuts" gang, including Charlie Brown, is making Apple TV+ their home, at least for the foreseeable future.
The streaming giant announced on Wednesday, Oct. 1, one day before the famed "Peanuts" comic strip would celebrate its 75th anniversary, that its partnership with the franchise would extend through 2030.
In addition to the classic "Peanuts" library, Apple TV+ plans to break ground on more new and original "Peanuts" series and specials, including a brand-new animated feature film that is currently in production.
Original programming collaborations began in 2018, two years before the service purchased the rights to exclusively air and provide subscribers access to material from the "Peanuts" catalogue.
"Fans can celebrate the 75th anniversary of Snoopy, Charlie Brown and friends all year long on Apple TV+, including free streaming windows of beloved Peanuts specials this holiday season, with 'It's the Great Pumpkin, Charlie Brown,' 'A Charlie Brown Thanksgiving' and 'A Charlie Brown Christmas,'" Apple TV+ said in a statement.

However, Apple TV+ will offer "free streaming windows," granting Peanuts fans who are not Apple TV+ subscribers the ability to watch "It's the Great Pumpkin, Charlie Brown," "A Charlie Brown Thanksgiving" and "A Charlie Brown Christmas" for free on certain days.
