After a stretch of relative quiet, Beyoncé Knowles-Carter resurfaced on social media to congratulate her mom, Tina Knowles, on her latest philanthropy award, even sharing photos from the night featuring Knowles and Blue Ivy Carter.

Mama Knowles was among those honored at the 27th annual Angel Ball of Gabrielle's Angel Foundation, held at Cipriani Wall Street in New York City on Oct. 27. The event raised $3 million for cancer research and was held in honor of Gabrielle Rich Aouad, the late daughter of songwriter and foundation co-founder Denise Rich, who passed away from acute myelogenous leukemia (AML) at 27 years old.

The star-studded event was attended by Gayle King, Michelle Williams and more. The evening also featured special performances by R&B legend Patti LaBelle, Ja Rule, Paul Russell and Montego Glover.

The Angel Ball honors individuals who have made significant humanitarian and philanthropic contributions to cancer research. This year, Tina Knowles was honored for her dedication to philanthropy and raising awareness for cancer research as well as Skye and Don Rufus Hankey, and Amy Green, CEO and founder of The Green Vision Foundation.

Knowles previously revealed she was diagnosed with stage 1 cancer in July 2024 after a delayed mammogram appointment.

Following the evening, Knowles shared some of her thoughts and gave a further glimpse inside the event on social media.

"Thank you to the amazing (doctors) that donate their time and brilliance to finding new treatments that can save lives, they also help families affected by Cancer," she wrote on Instagram. "I dedicated my award to my beautiful friend Debbie Cohen who we lost 3 years ago to Cancer she was such a warrior for research and i miss her so much. Please get your mammograms. It saved my life."

Beyoncé also hopped on Instagram so congratulate her mother, writing, "Congrats Mom on your philanthropy award at the Angel Ball tonight."
