"I remember having a blast because Liv Tyler [was] there, and [she] and I, together, wore masks to go walk around everywhere, which was so fun," Page recalled at the 2025 New York Comic Con.

"But even in the mask, people were asking to take pictures with [Tyler], having no idea that it was [her]," he said, adding that she wore aV for Vendettamask.

Page shared that he's always been a fan of pop culture staples likeStar Wars— which he said he "became completely hooked" on after seeing its theatrical rerelease — as well as superhero classics likeBatmanandSpider-Man, so he was a fan himself, just like many of the other Comic Con attendees.

He eventually got the chance to play a superhero in theX-Menfranchise — taking on the role of mutant Kitty Pryde inX-Men: The Last Stand(2006). Page said that it was eye-opening walking on to the set and seeing the "scale of the production" on the movie after previously having done indie films.

"That was definitely so intimidating to walk into all these extraordinary talents and extremely famous people," the actor recalled. "And walking into this world, that one thing that I immediately took away from my castmates was just how wonderful and welcoming they were."

"[They] really just [made] me feel comfortable and included. So that was really nice," he added.

The actor went on to say that the cast and crew also made him feel welcome when he returned inX-Men: Days of Future Past(2014). Page explained that "being back with such a wonderful group of people and to continue to be a part of such an extraordinary world and legacy of characters," meant "so much" to him.
