Kate Middletonacted with both concern and humor when something went wrong during theroyal family's annual Christmas walk.
The Princess of Wales, 43, joined the royals in their holiday church outing on Dec. 25, after which they spent time greeting some of the well-wishers who gathered outside. Princess Kate took her time shaking hands and exchanging hellos with members of the public at Sandringham, the royal family's private estate in Norfolk where they traditionally spend Christmas.
At one point, Kate was shaking hands with someone when a loud crack was heard, as seen in a video shared byThe Sun.
Turning her attention to a man whose chair broke, the Princess of Wales asked, "Are you okay?"
He replied with a laugh, "I'm fine. Thank you for caring."

"Is that your seat?" Princess Kate questioned, gesturing downward with her hand as she realized what had happened. She smiled and put a hand on the man's shoulder as they continued to chat.
After the man joked that the chair broke even before Christmas dinner, Kate quipped in return, "Too many mince pies!"
During her Christmas greetings, the Princess of Wales also chatted with aroyal fan who gave a predictionabout sonPrince George's future height.
Princess Kate took so long to speak with various well-wishers that shereportedly "lagged behind"the rest of the royal family. She similarly took her timeduring last year's Christmas outing, joking to a group, "I seem to have lost my family!"

Princess Kate's three children —Prince George, 12,Princess Charlotte,10, andPrince Louis, 7 — were also a hit with the crowd during the Christmas outing. The trio collected small gifts like stuffed animals and treats — including agiant hunk of chocolatethat Louis was particularly excited about! Charlotte evencharmed the crowd by posing for a selfie.
