The new season sees Reid's Lestat de Lioncourt living the rockstar life, as vampires have been outed by author Daniel Molloy (Eric Bobosian) in his book that interviews Louis de Pointe du Lac (Jacob Anderson). Lestat takes full advantage of his newfound freedom and embarks on a multi-city tour while being haunted by "muses" from his past.

"As his band's popularity and star power rises," says the show's official description, "so does Lestat's influence over vampires and humans alike, leaving others to contend with Lestat's power in the face of the Great Conversion, an unnatural surge in the vampire population."

In addition to Reid, Anderson, and Bogosian,The Vampire Lestatstars Assad Zaman, Delainey Hayles and Jennifer Ehle and is executive produced by Mark Johnson; creator, writer and showrunner Rolin Jones; Hannah Moscovitch; along with Christopher Rice and late author Anne Rice.
