We all know a Tyreek Hill signing is looming, though it's not as inevitable as it once was. Trade rumors are swirling around Hollywood Brown after he hasn't done much for the Philadelphia Eagles this season.

Colts add WR Mecole Hardman, P Thomas Morstead to practice squad | Pro Football Talk

Hardman, a three-time Super Bowl champion with the Chiefs, was most recently with the Bills, though he was released at roster cuts in August. He appeared in just two games for Buffalo last season, rerunning two punts and one kickoff.

Indianapolis has added Morstead after punter Rigoberto Sanchez had to exit Sunday's loss to Tennessee due to a foot injury sustained on a blocked punt. Morstead appeared in all 17 games for San Francisco last season, averaging 43.6 yards on his 44 punts.

The Chiefs' offense is rolling. But they need to make one change | The Kansas City Star

Walker has carried the football 11 times on plays originating inside the 5. He has scored on only two of them. He's been stopped at the line of scrimmage or for a loss of yardage on seven of the 11 attempts.

So it's been more than three times as likely for the opponent to celebrate a stop in the backfield as it has been for the Chiefs to celebrate a touchdown.

The Chiefs' touchdown percentage on rushing plays inside the 5 — the 2 of 11 equals 18.2% — is the second-worst percentage in the league. The Steelers are the only team worse, though they've somehow managed to attempt only one run inside the 5. They are 0-for-1.

Chiefs Stock Watch: Who Helped and Hurt Their Case in Week 6 Win vs. Chargers? | Sports Illustrated

Speaking of players who made the most of their opportunities in Week 6, Noah Gray matched the receiving output of Kelce by mustering 53 yards in the home win. Gray hauled in each of the three targets thrown his way and displayed some rare post-catch chops on a 31-yard rumble to boot. Kelce's ankle injury limited his effectiveness and availability a bit, so Gray being the one to help insulate the pass catchers was a nice development.

Denver Broncos – Kansas City Chiefs Week 8 game unlikely to be flexed to SNF | Mile High Sports

he Chiefs face the Seattle Seahawks on Sunday Night Football this week.

That seems like enough reason to not feature Kansas City on SNF in Week 8, or on back-to-back Sundays.

But that's not why Chiefs – Broncos won't be on SNF in Week 8.

According to Pro Football Talk, an NFL rule says these home-and-home games must be on Sunday afternoon.

"By rule, at least one game of a home-and-home division rivalry must be televised on Sunday afternoon."

Chiefs Named Top Trade Destination for Projected $122 Million Star Playmaker | Heavy Sports

"I might think … George Pickens is a trade candidate," Solak detailed in an October 20, story titled, "Seven things Solak thinks entering NFL Week 7: From Eagles to Matthew Stafford."

"His effort level and focus seem to be waning again, and the Cowboys will struggle to pay Pickens and cornerback Joey Porter Jr., whom they recently traded for," Solak added.

"If the 2-4 Cowboys keep losing games, I'd call Pickens on the franchise tag for the remainder of the season — we know he has game-breaking ability when he's dialed in. Imagine Pickens in Los Angeles to help replace Davante Adams … or in Kansas City as Mahomes' new downfield target? Exciting stuff."

Eagles won't be punished for handling of Jalen Hurts' blood clots: Source | The Athletic

After further testing, within three days of returning to the U.S., the superficial blood clot had moved. Hurts has since been diagnosed with blood clots in both lungs and has been ruled out for the remainder of the NFL season. Hurts is clinically stable, but he can't play football while on blood thinners, which his treatment requires.

There have been many questions around the Eagles' handling of Hurts. The NFL has been in regular communication with the team and its medical staff, the league source said.

Giants releasing RB Najee Harris, source says | ESPN

Harris, who is second on the team behind Cam Skattebo in rushing yards with 99 this season, got the start Sunday but had just four carries for 2 yards. That output ranked last of the six players who were credited with a carry for the Giants.

Skattebo, who began the season as the team's top running back, has seen his workload reduced after fumbling four times. In Sunday's loss to the New Orleans Saints, Skattebo did not have a single carry.

Titans release DT Jordan Elliott after 'incident' at team facility | CBS Sports

Elliott's surprising release is not the only strange occurrence the Titans are dealing with, as the team also made starting cornerback and $58 million free-agent addition Alontae Taylor inactive in Week 6. They didn't just bench him; they took his uniform away. It was described as a coach's decision, and Saleh has refused to elaborate on the situation.

"We'll discuss it as a staff and make a decision that is best for the team moving forward," Saleh told reporters on Monday.
