Ravens vs. Browns score, live updates: Lamar Jackson out with ankle injury, Tyler Huntley gets another start in AFC North clash

Yahoo Sports Staff Updated Sun, October 18, 2026 at 5:41 PM UTC About Our Ads Advertisement Advertisement Advertisement In this story The Baltimore Ravens and Cleveland Browns face off in their first of two meetings this season in Week 6, with kickoff set for 1 p.m. ET at Huntington Bank Field in Cleveland.

The Ravens are off to a 4-1 start in 2026 under rookie head coach Jesse Minter and set to be without MVP quarterback Lamar Jackson for the second straight week as he recovers from an ankle injury. That puts Tyler "Snoop" Huntley in line for his second start of the season following last week's win over the Atlanta Falcons in overtime .

The Browns have surprised so far this season with a 3-2 record, but are coming off a loss against the New York Jets last week. Deshaun Watson has thrown a touchdown pass in each of his starts this season. He did take a whopping eight sacks last week though, which may not bode well against the Ravens defense, which has delivered a 11.1% quarterback knockdown rate, good for 12th in the league.

The Browns had a more successful second drive on offense, but not by much. After Deshaun Watson picked up a single yard on a scramble, the quarterback hit Jerry Jeudy for a nine-yard gain and a fresh set of downs.

Three plays later, though, the Browns were unable to make any more progess down the field and had to punt.

After forcing a Cleveland punt, Baltimore moved down the field, but stalled in field goal range. Tyler Loop drilled a 34-yard field goal.

Baltimore is up 10-0 with 4:37 in the opening frame.

Cleveland's opening drive ended in a three-and-out.

Deshaun Watson had an incompletion on first down to Denzel Boston. With Quinshon Judkins out due to an injury, Jaleel McLaughlin got the first carry for the Browns and gained five yards.

Calais Campbell then sacked Watson on third down, and the Browns had to punt.

Baltimore looked like it had been stuffed at the goal line on three consecutive plays by the Cleveland defense.

Backup quarterback Snoop Huntley got the offense near the goal line, but Derrick Henry, who had been super productive earlier on the drive, was stuffed twice.

Head coach Jesse Minter opted to risk it for the biscuit and went for it on fourth and goal. Huntley bought some time with his legs before finding rookie tight end Josh Cuevas for his first career touchdown.

Baltimore is already on the edge of the red zone thanks to an opening drive led largely by veteran running back Derrick Henry.

The star RB has already rushed for 11 and 17 yards on his first two carries of the game.

Browns starting running back Quinshon Judkins has been ruled out for today's game against the Ravens.

He was considered a game-time decision due to an ankle injury. Cleveland running back Dylan Sampson is already on IR, leaving the Browns' backfield depth depleted.

With no Judkins, Jaleel McLaughlin and Audric Estime are expected to lead the backfield.

It's always notable where respected bettors have landed on this week's games. While these prices may not currently be available at all sportsbooks, knowing where sharps have wagered can also be instructive for in-game wagering.

Yahoo Sports conversed with several bookmakers over the course of this week, and here is where some sharp action has been (and the numbers it came in at):

Chargers +7.5, Chiefs-Chargers under 42.5

Baltimore Ravens quarterback Lamar Jackson has been ruled out for a second straight week due to an ankle injury, head coach Jesse Minter announced on Friday.

"It's just a decision for his best interest," Minter said. "That's really what every decision is going to be about.

Jackson suffered a left sprained ankle during Baltimore's 24-18 win over the Tennessee Titans in Week 4. He has not practiced in the past two weeks and sat out Sunday night's overtime win against the Atlanta Falcons.

Tyler Huntley, who threw for 201 yards and two touchdowns against the Falcons, will start once again as the Ravens take on the Cleveland Browns.
