Week 7 Fantasy Football Sleepers: Jaylin Noel, Tyrone Tracy Jr. among underrated options off the waiver wire

Scott Pianowski Fantasy analyst Thu, October 22, 2026 at 2:28 PM UTC · 3 min read About Our Ads Advertisement Advertisement Advertisement Germie Bernard, Dameon Pierce and Kendre Miller all were useful in Week 6 , so it was one of the better sleeper pages of the year. Let's see if we can keep the ball rolling with a tricky Week 7 slate.

WR Jaylin Noel vs. Giants (22%) : I'm shocked the market hasn't been more interested in Noel, who has been fantasy-relevant three straight weeks and had a 4-107-1 smash against the Jaguars. Obviously the Texans have added other receivers via trade, but Kayshon Boutte hasn't done much all year and Marvin Harrison Jr. was on a limited snap count last week. Tank Dell's return also has to be mentioned, but given how little he's played the last two years, keep expectations small. With C.J. Stroud playing at a high level, let's leave the light on for Noel.

RB Tyrone Tracy Jr. at Texans (24%) : The Houston defense has been much better against the run this year and I don't blame anyone who wants to avoid the crowded New York backfield at this time. But Tracy did score two touchdowns on his nine opportunities last week, so you have to figure he'll get a shot. With four teams on bye, Tracy might sneak into the flex discussion this week.

TE Colby Parkinson at Raiders (1%) : With Davante Adams and Terrance Ferguson out multiple weeks, the Rams will have to rely on secondary pass catchers for a while. Perhaps Konata Mumpfield and Tyler Higbee will fill those roles, but let's keep an open mind for Parkinson, who posted a useful 5-31-1 line last week on six targets. The Raiders' seam coverage has been poor all year.

RB Kendre Miller vs. Steelers (42%) : We try not to repeat players in this sheet, but until Miller pushes past 50% rostered, he's probably worth a mention. Miller had 10 carries and a touchdown two weeks back, and last week it was 22 touches (even if they went for a modest 70 yards). Solving for opportunity is the first job with backfields, so Miller deserves to be taken seriously, even against a strong Pittsburgh front seven in the NFL Paris Game (9:30 a.m. ET start).

RB Mike Washington Jr. vs Rams (32%) : Washington is dealing with back and foot soreness, so track his practice week before committing to anything. But we can't overlook that Washington has been more explosive than Ashton Jeanty this year, and Washington has double-digit touches in two of his last three games.

QB Geno Smith vs. Dolphins (15%) : He's been inconsistent most of the year, with three starts under 10 fantasy points. But Smith was clicking with rookie WR Omar Cooper Jr. last week, Garrett Wilson remains a strong alpha and the Miami pass defense hasn't stopped much, giving up a 115.0 passer rating.

WR Omar Cooper Jr. vs. Dolphins (43%) : Cooper was a hot waiver-wire pickup after his 6-103-1 smash last week, and keep in mind he had a second touchdown wiped out by a curious penalty. Miami's inexperienced secondary will be tested by Cooper's speed and ability to get deep.

WR Ja'Kobi Lane vs. Bengals (17%) : We'll mention Lane as a chance to cut the waiver line for next week — his roster tag will spike if he has a breakout game against Cincinnati. Lane was a buzzy player all summer, he had a Week 1 touchdown wiped out by penalty and his return from injury last week was solid (4-40-0, five targets), especially given the presence of backup QB Tyler Huntley. Lane should settle in as Baltimore's second-best pass catcher in the second half of the year, and Lamar Jackson's eventual return will pump the upside case.
