The deadly incident happened two days after Warnock had referred to as 999 reporting that Miyah was having difficulties respiration.

The courtroom heard how two days afterward September 20, Jasmine had returned house from work to seek out Samuel on the telephone to the emergency providers.

Warnock advised the operator Miyah had "a fit" after waking up and had stopped respiration "because she was crying so much", Ms Carberry stated.

Miyah died almost a month afterward October 19.

Ms Carberry informed the courtroom that Warnock would smoke weed around the baby and had a history of violent offences together with biting a police officer.

She stated that relations had spotted bruising on the three-month-old's legs and shoulders prior to the deadly incident.

Associates later raised considerations after witnessing Warnock's "tough dealing with" of Miyah, the courtroom heard.

Ms Carberry added: "He was seen to grab her out of the basket whereas she was asleep, holding her above his head and commenting it was like a scene in The Lion King.

"He was seen not to help her head and shifting her physique forwards and backwards."

She added how Warnock had been "controlling and coercive" in the direction of his wife.

However Mrs Warnock – who was not present when Miyah was fatally injured – "ignored those purple flags" of her daughter's injuries which her husband had prompted, as an alternative selecting to consider his "excuses".

Ms Carberry added: "She failed to guard her child daughter.

"She shouldn't be chargeable for assaulting the child on any event, she was not current when the deadly damage was inflicted."

'DEVASTATED'

Miyah's grandparents, who helped look after her, have been "devastated" at her demise which had "ripped a hole in their lives", the courtroom heard.

Charles Row, defending Samuel Warnock, stated his shopper had expressed "real" remorse.
