Gmail is down for users worldwide, leaving them unable to send emails or access their accounts. The outage hit the Google service at around 3pm ET, which is plaguing users in the US, the UK, parts of Europe, Australia, Asia and South America. More than 1.8 billion people across the globe use Gmail, but the number of those impacted Thursday is unknown. Users shared their frustrations about the email service issues on X, with some sharing screen shots showing an error message that reads: 'Oops, something went wrong.
