The Disney Channel series, which ran from 2010 to 2013, featured Bella Thorne and Zendaya in their breakout roles as aspiring dancers CeCe Jones and Rocky Blue. After successfully auditioning for the fictional, Chicago-based teen dance show Shake It Up, they had to navigate the industry and their friendship. Davis Cleveland, Roshon Fegan, Adam Irigoyen, Kenton Duty and Caroline Sunshine also starred alongside Thorne and Zendaya.
