Johnny Cashs 7 Children: All About the Musical Legends Son and Daughters
Johnny Cash's musical legacy lives on through his family. Among Cash's children and stepchildren — Rosanne, Kathy, Cindy, Tara, John Carter, Carlene and Rosie — all have had creative careers as musicians, actors and writers. Cash had four daughters with his first wife, Vivian Liberto. They met in 1951 when she was 17 and he was 19 and in Air Force basic training in San Antonio, Texas. Shortly after, he deployed to Germany; when he was discharged in 1954, the couple wed and moved to Memphis, Tennessee, where his career quickly took off.
