A devastated family has paid tribute to their 'brilliant and witty' son after he fell to his death from a cruise ship balcony in an 'unthinkable' accident. Pierson 'Piers' Davis, 12, was with his mom, dad, and two sisters aboard the Royal Caribbean ship Harmony of the Seas on the final evening of its seven-day voyage to the Western Caribbean when the tragedy struck on September 7. The boy from, Coloma, Michigan fell from the railing of his family's 13th floor cabin balcony to the busy Central Park plaza five stories below, hours before the ship was due to dock back at Galveston in Texas.
