Steve Kornacki is paying tribute to his beloved mother Anne B. (Ramonas) Kornacki after she died at age 77. On Tuesday, Sept. 17, the NBC News political correspondent, 45, shared an obituary on X (formerly Twitter) that had been published that day, revealing his mom had died "unexpectedly on Friday, Sept. 13, 2024 at Mid Coast Hospital in Brunswick [Maine] with her family by her side." Steve also shared a childhood photo on Instagram showing him sitting on his mom's knee while sipping from a straw in a soda can on Sunday, Sept.
