Coast Guard officials continued to probe why the Titan submersible imploded during the second day of the highly-anticipated hearing into the tragedy. The experimental Titan submersible was destroyed in June 2023 during a dive to the ruins of the Titanic, killing all five people on board, including OceanGate founder Stockton Rush. Ten former OceanGate employees have been called to give testimony in the hearing in North Charleston, South Carolina, which is probing whether any criminal activity led to the tragedy tragedy.
