President-elect Donald Trump has announced Brooke Rollins as his nomination to be the Secretary of Agriculture. In a statement, Trump said that Rollins, head of the America First Policy Institute, would 'spearhead the effort to protect American farmers'. If confirmed, Rollins would lead a 100,000-person agency with offices in every county in the country. The agency had a budget of $437.2 billion in 2024.
