Tyla took some outfit inspiration from Aaliyah. For the MTV European Music Awards on Sunday, Nov. 10, the "Water" singer sported a blue version of the Roberto Cavalli dress that the "Back Forth" songstress famously wore to the 2000 MTV VMAs. Tyla, 22, accessorized the iconic look with a silver choker and strappy black heels that went up to her knees. When the late Aaliyah wore the dress 24 years ago, hers was a yellow version, paired with a more classic strappy heel along with red lipgloss and white nail polish.
