ESPN's Adam Schefter hit back at rival NFL reporter Mike Florio on Christmas Day for discrediting his story about Pete Carroll's potential coaching comeback. Schefter said that the 73-year-old Carroll was considering making a return to the NFL and that the Chicago Bears, new York Jets and New Orleans Saints all need coaches of his pedigree. Pro Football Talk's Florio then mocked Schefter's reporting, writing: 'Adam Schefter of ESPN.com reports that Carroll wants back in.
