One person is dead as the South has been continually battered by tornados, high winds and hail. After a tornado touched down in Manville, Texas, one person was reported dead by the city's Mayor Dan Davis, reporter Gage Goulding said on X. In addition to Texas, severe weather is also expected to ramp up again across the South including Louisiana, Mississippi and Alabama. More than 5,000 flights have been hit with delays and 175 canceled in or out of the US as of Saturday afternoon, according to FlightAware.
