Jimmy Carter is lying in repose on the first night of his multi-day state funeral. The body of the former president, who died on Sunday, Dec. 29 at 100, is currently at the Carter Presidential Center in Atlanta, where the Nobel Peace Prize winner will remain until 6 a.m. local time on Tuesday, Jan. 7. Earlier in the day, while en route to the center, a motorcade stopped in front of the farm that served as Carter's boyhood home in Plains, Ga.
