Hilary Duff is sharing a relatable parenting take after spending time with her kids on an airplane.
The Lizzie McGuire alum, 37, shared a hilarious photo on her Instagram Stories on Monday, Sept. 15, asking her audience if they'd ever been in her shoes. In the picture, Duff appears to be holding a glass of wine while relaxing in a bubble bath.
"Like this if you ever wanted to leave your kids on a plane," Duff wrote over the snap. "Today I was close."
The actress shares daughters Townes Meadow, 15 months, Mae James, 4, and Banks Violet, 6, with husband Matthew Koma. She is also mom to son Luca Cruz, 13, whom she shares with ex-husband Mike Comrie.

Hilary Duff asks a question on her Instagram Stories
This past June, Duff shared a Reel on Instagram as she recapped her family's Hawaiian vacation. In one clip, Duff's daughter Townes could be seen taking a few steps on an outdoor patio. The scene shifted to show the toddler inside, hoisting herself up to see her mom.
As she recounted her time on the tropical island, Duff shared that those few steps were actually Townes' first.
"Absolutely the perfect setting for Townsie's first steps and our family and friends to enjoy swimming until our eyes gave out, riding bikes, fishing, making wood fired pizzas like pros, snorkeling with turtles, feeding ducks, and daily visits to Kilo Kai," she wrote in her caption.
Her caption continued: "Our souls leveled up and we will be replaying this one for a long long time. 10 out of 10 would recommend losing track of time with your favorite people here. We ❤️ you Kona 🌺 ."

At the end of August, Duff shared a picture of her son Luca before heading off for his first day as an 8th grader. In it, he wore a white polo and sweatpants while standing outside with his arms at his sides and maintaining a straight face.
Commenting on her son's teenage energy, the mom of four jokingly wrote in text over the photo, "8th graders won't hold signs."
In another update on her Instagram Stories, the "What Dreams Are Made of" singer shared a picture of her daughter Mae enjoying an ice cream sundae. Her daughter had a bright smile on her face as she posed with her sweet treat.
"Summer is still in session for this one," Duff captioned the photo.
