Could we see a lightning delay in the first NFL game of the 2025-26 regular season? Well, our current forecast calls for a 50% chance of rain Thursday night with isolated thunderstorms. The Philadelphia Eagles will host the Dallas Cowboys at Lincoln Financial Field, and if conditions are good enough, kickoff is scheduled for 8:20 p.m. EDT.

A landslide in Sudan's western region of Darfur wiped out an entire village today, leaving more than 1,000 people dead, according to the rebel group controlling the area. A farmer told the that the landslide happened after weeks of heavy rain in the region.
The disaster is being called one of the deadliest in the country's recent history.

Kiko is the 11th named storm and fifth hurricane to form in the 2025 Eastern Pacific hurricane season. The storm is currently tracking westward through the Pacific and is expected to remain a hurricane for the next several days.
Why are we keeping a close eye on it?
By early-to-mid next week, Kiko could bring potential impacts to the Hawaiian islands. While it is too soon to determine exactly where this storm will track, there is a possibility that it could end up near the islands. If you live in Hawaii or are traveling there next week, this is something you'll want to continue to watch closely.
