Days after multiple sources confirmed to PEOPLE that the NFL player, 30, andAlix Earle, 24, had broken up, Berrios defended himself onInstagramfor not attending any of herDancing with the Starsperformances.
On Thursday, Dec. 11, the Houston Texans player posted multiple photos of his game day fits, with the caption, "What did I miss?"

While some fans pointed out that the caption could be a reference tothe Drake song "What Did I Miss?", others took it as an opportunity to tell him what he missed — literally.

"Every single performance of alixs," one fan wrote, referring to his ex-girlfriend's run onseason 34 ofDancing with the Stars.

Being that the season aired during the NFL season, Berriors replied to the fan: "I would've been at every one if I could've, sadly I can't travel like that in season."

After another fan posted a similar comment, writing, "Every single one of Alix's shows..." Berrios replied, "I would've loved to be. Sadly I wasn't able to travel like that in-season."
As fans recall, Earle planned asurprise 30th birthday party for Berrios in Los Angelesduringhis bye week. The football star turned 30 on Oct. 6 and made sure to mention his trip to California to another fan who said he missed a "first class ticket to LA during the Biweek."

"That's exactly where I went for bye week!" he wrote.
Shortly after Berriors made his post, Earlemade a post of her own on Instagramfilled with pictures from the past couple of days.
"Can't a girl just go dancing," she wrote. The post included snaps of her clubbing, hanging out with friends, and wearing sexy outfits.
In her comment section, fans pointed out the timing of the two posts.

"Okay your post after braxtons!!!! I hope y'all are laughing at this together!! 😭," one fan wrote.
"I hope your with each other posting next to one another laughing," another person shared.

During season 34 ofDancing with the Stars, Berrios wouldperiodically show that he was watching Earle's performancesby posting photos of the broadcast on his Instagram Stories. He also sent her avideo message during the finale week.
In September, Earle exclusively told PEOPLE thatBerrios would miss her showsbecause "he's stuck in football world right now, so unfortunately he won't be able to come."
Sources told PEOPLE on Dec. 5 thatthe two had broken up after two years together, adding that the split was "mutual."
