Amy Schumer and Chris Fischer are ending their marriage after 7 years.
The actor/comedian revealed that they still have love for each other, and plan to coparent.

Amy Schumer recently confirmed that she and her husband, Chris Fischer, are officially ending things, saying on Instagram "Blah blah blah Chris and I have made the difficult decision to end our marriage after 7 years."
She added that they still love each other, will focus on raising their son, and pushed back on recent rumors, saying "not because I dropped some lbs and thought I could bag a basket ball player and not because he's a hot James beard award winning chef who can still pull some hot tail. Amicable and all love and respect! Family forever."
A source tells theDaily Mailthat "Amy can joke all she wants about her relationship now that it is heading toward divorce, but this was a long time coming and she is equal amounts happy and sad. She is telling the truth about looking forward to co-parenting Gene, but she is focusing on getting her life and career back in order for a very successful 2026."
A source also said that "WhenTrainwreckcame out in 2015 she was on fire with her career, and she was offered lots of roles that she ended up saying no to. Then she got pregnant and did things here and there, but didn't go full throttle as she would have liked. Now, 10 years on from theTrainwreckhigh and success that started giving her the career she expected for herself, she's looking to get that back and see if lightning strikes twice for a major movie career."
They also noted that "With those career goals and her being a mother, she didn't focus much on her marriage to make that succeed. But that is the life she was chasing, and the life she has chosen to take into the new year. She's realized you can't have everything and the thing that suffered most was her marriage. Now she is trying to figure it all out one day at a time."
