Former The Voice contestant Kata Hay was arrested on a vehicular homicide warrant
Hay's warrant came from Tennessee, and she was arrested in Oklahoma

Kata Hay, a former contestant on the hit music seriesThe Voice,was arrested in Oklahoma last week on a vehicular homicide warrant.
Hay, 38, was booked into the Osage County Jail on Dec. 17, according tojail recordsviewed by PEOPLE, just one day after police in Tennessee asked for the public's help tracking her down. The jail lists her charges as fugitive from justice and hold for Tennessee.
The Goodlettsville Police Department posted a photo of Hay to Facebookon Dec. 16, saying the singer had outstanding warrants "for vehicular homicide in connection with a motor vehicle crash" in Davidson County.
At the time, police wrote that they believed Hay was heading toward Oklahoma.The next day,the department said she'd been arrested in Oklahoma thanks to a "multitude of citizens who called in with tips as to [her] location."

Hay — whose legal name is Kata Huddleston — will be extradited back to Davidson County from Oklahoma, police said.
She did not immediately respond to PEOPLE's request for comment.
The musician competed on season 11 ofThe Voicein 2016, and was on coachChristina Aguilera's team. Hay had a memorable audition for the show, singing Gretchen Wilson's "Redneck Woman" and ultimately sharing a kiss with Aguilera.
The two women shared a quick peck after Hay revealed that the "What a Girl Wants" singer was her first "girl crush," and Aguilera responded, "Should we just make out now? Let's just get it over with so we can get to work."
Hay made it to the Top 20 before being eliminated.
Hay waspreviously arrested in 2022in Sumner County, Tenn. for allegedly having sexual contact with a minor. She pleaded guilty that August and wassentenced to six monthsin jail, according to WKRN. At the time of her arrest, Hay was reportedly on probation for a 2017 DUI charge.
