Patrick Mahomes gave the Kansas City Chiefs a huge scare on Monday night after jarring his left ankle in their game against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. With the Chiefs trailing 17-10 early in the fourth quarter, Mahomes evaded pressure in the pocket and darted forward before stopping to flip the ball to Samaje Perine in the end zone. Yet as he slowed down to pick out Perine, the Kansas City quarterback's left leg appeared to buckle awkwardly, leaving him in clear discomfort.
