Martha Stewart, 84, Welcomes a Tiny New Family Member — And Fans Are Obsessed

She is also credited with curating some of the most delicious and visually appealing meals and recipes. Instead, it was a tiny four-legged bundle of joy and puppy breath that the 84-year-old introduced with a series of photos on Instagram. Half Moon is the biological daughter of one of Stewart's other pups, Muna Luna, she explained in the caption. She went on to say that the puppy has already bonded with the other members of the pack on her farm.

In each of the 8 photos, the tiny black furball is pictured in all of her adorable glory from various angles. She's got the notorious wide-body stance of a Frenchie, as well as the most perfect stand-up ears to take it all in. Her face is perfectly smooshed, and it is easy to see why the internet is smitten with Stewart's newest fur baby.

One fan said, "Half Moon already looks right at home in her new chapter. 🤍 That calmconfidenceat eight weeks is something special. Sending love to you and the whole pack." Another said, "Absolutely darling! Bring on the puppies! We love them!!" "She's perfect!" "So cute," "Adorable," echoed many other heart-warmed fans, sending love back to Stewart regarding her new pup.

While many fans celebrated the new addition, not all of the reactions were positive. A handful of commenters questioned Stewart's decision to welcome the new puppy through breeding one of her dogs rather than adopting. Others pointed out that animal shelters and rescue organizations are often overwhelmed with French bulldogs, citing concerns about unethical and inhumane breeding practices. "Next time - Please adopt. Don't shop.👏 In LA & Riverside County, there are so many precious Frenchies in dire circumstances in kill shelters," one follower pleaded. "Martha, I [would] die for you, but there are soooooo many gorgeous, perfect Frenchies that need homes. Show everyone how rewarding adoption is 🙏🏼💗," commented another with a similar sentiment.

Beyond the breeding debate, other commenters were quick to zero in on the setting of Stewart's photo carousel. "Nothing better than a new puppy on a beautiful countertop 😍," one fan commented. "If Martha Stewart's dog can stand on the kitchen counter, mine can sleep in my bed," another joked.

It's clear Half Moon is already settling into alifeof comfort. The 8-week-old French bulldog will be raised alongside Stewart's four other dogs on hersprawling 150-acre farmin Katonah, New York, where luxury, space, and meticulous care are very much part of daily life.
