TheOne Battle After Anotherstar, 65, was photographed walking with his girlfriend, 30, out in Santa Monica, Calif., on Wednesday, Jan. 14.
Two matched in black and white looks as Penn sported a white button-up shirt, a structured blue blazer, black trousers and white sneakers. Meanwhile, the model opted for a monochromatic black ensemble that featured a black turtleneck sweater beneath a black peacoat. She paired her look with black slacks and matching sneakers, accessorizing with a black baguette bag and cat-eye sunglasses on her collar.
As the pair held hands, Nicov chatted with Penn, who was smoking with his free hand.
The Jan. 14 spotting comes days after Penn attended the 2026Golden Globe Awardson Sunday, Jan. 11. There, he was nominated for Best Supporting Actor in a Motion Picture, for his role in Paul Thomas Anderson'sOne Battle After Another.
At the awards show,Penn was spotted smoking indoorswhile sitting at a table with costarLeonardo DiCaprio, among others. He was photographed inhaled the cigarette as he sat beside DiCaprio, 51, andKate Hudson, 46, according to a photo fromThe Wall Street Journalreporter Ben Fritz.
A representative for Penn did not immediately return PEOPLE's request for comment.
While Nicov didn't appear to accompany Penn to the Jan. 11 awards ceremony, the pair were most recently photographed at the 78th annual Cannes Film Festival in May 2025.
Months prior, in September 2024, they were first spotted together in Madrid,Page Sixreported. The following month, Nicov and Penn were seen together at the Los Angeles Airport, according to photos obtained byPage Six.
