The German was Bayern's greatest player as Tuchel's aspect left London with a credible draw ahead of the second leg on the Allianz Area.

Bayern, underdogs going into the first leg, went 1-Zero down when Bukayo Saka curled in an opener.

But Serge Gnabry equalised, earlier than a stunning Sane run earned Bayern a penalty for Harry Kane to convert.

Sane gave Jakub Kiwior a torrid time, with Mikel Arteta replacing him at half-time.

However Oleksandr Zinchenko was relieved to see Sane go off with the score at 2-1, a lot to the German's frustration.
