On Thursday, Dec. 4, the actor's daughter,Lorraine Nicholson, 35, shared anInstagram carouselpost from her "November to remember", including a rare look at her famous father.
In a close-up photo, fans spotted the 88-year-old actor posing for a snap with Lorraine and her brother,Ray Nicholson. 33.
The photo was seemingly from the family's Thanksgiving festivities, as a group photo in front of a festive dinner table came before it.

Nicholson shares Lorraine and Ray with exRebecca Broussard. He is also a father toJennifer Nicholson, 61,Caleb Goddard, 54, Honey Hollman, 43, and Tessa Gourin, 31.
Jennifer made an appearance in one of the photos and commented "🔥" underneath the post. Other photos included showed Lorraine at the 16th Governors Awards withJason Reitmanand snaps from the 39th American Cinematheque Award Ceremony.
In the comment section, however, fans were excited to get a sight of Nicholson.

"Great seeing your dad!" a third comment read.
This isn't the first time thatLorraine has given a glimpse of her dad. In honor of the "giving season" in January, she shared a photo smiling alongside him in a festiveInstagram post.
The image showed Lorraine wrapping her arms around her dad's shoulders, and he placed his hand on her arm in front of a crowded bookcase.

Like Lorraine, Ray has also pursued a career in Hollywood, looking to his sister's example of the many projects he'd like to pursue.
"I think that I have a unique perspective, and I've learned to embrace that rather than try to hide it, so I've been trying to flirt with writing a little bit," theNovocaineactor told PEOPLE in March.
