King Charles has had it with his disgraced brother Andrew Mountbatten-Windsor, and is making moves to ban him from his beloved "shooting weekends."
Rob Shuter'sShuterScoopspoke to sources who claim the ban will take effect in the new year, with one insider saying "Charles has decided enough is enough. Andrew's private shooting days at Windsor and Sandringham will be over once January arrives."
The shooting weekends consist of Andrew socializing with 20 or more friends and calling it a "family day," with one source saying "It was a packed social calendar disguised as shooting." So, basically he was throwing parties in Windsor and Sandringham, and King Charles is over it.
"He has a comfortable, fully staffed home," another source says. "It's ideal for his bloodthirsty passion for pheasant and partridge shooting — and for socializing and networking away from public view."
This comes amid Charles stripping Andrew of his prince title and various royal honors, as well as evicting him from the Royal Lodge, a fancy mansion he's been living in rent-free for years.
So, where will Andrew go next?The Sunreports that he will be moving into a "ramshackle" property called "Marsh Farm" on the royal family's private Sandringham estate. The property allegedly needs "a lot of renovation," andThe Daily Mailreports that royal aides have been moving Andrew's belongings from the Royal Lodge under the "cover of darkness," and "have taken the first few items last week to a Windsor storage facility belonging to the Crown Estate."
Meanwhile, an insider tellsShuterScoopthat Andrew might reject Marsh Farm and flee to the Middle East. "Over there, he's treated like royalty, there's respect, discretion, and none of the public hostility he faces at home," one source says.
