Kayshon Boutte makes Catch of the Year bid with one-handed TD vs Texans

TheNew England Patriots' clash with theHouston Texansin thedivisional roundwas the fifth-to-last game of this NFL season, but that was plenty of time for Pats wide receiverKayshon Boutteto submit his bid for a Catch of the Year contender.

Boutte dove for a one-handed touchdown grab during thePatriots' playoff meeting with theTexanswhile covered tightly by All-Pro cornerbackDerek Stingley Jr. The catch gave New England a 12-point lead just over two minutes into the fourth quarter – crucial breathing room in a game that was heavily defined by strong defensive play.

Boutte's touchdown catch was his seventh of the year and his first in the playoffs in his three-year career. The former sixth-round pick's 32-yard gain on the throw also gave him 75 yards on the evening, making him New England's most productive pass-catcher in the divisional round.
