Former Wimbledon FC and Newcastle United manager Joe Kinnear has passed away at the age of 77, his household have confirmed in a press release.

Kinnear, who managed Newcastle within the 2008-09 marketing campaign and in addition had a spell because the club's director of football from 2013 till 2014, had been dwelling with dementia since 2015.

He spent six years in command of Wimbledon FC from 1992 to 1999 and was topped LMA Supervisor of the Yr during his time on the south London membership.

Kinnear, who also managed Luton City and Nottingham Forest, enjoyed an excellent enjoying profession across the 1960s and 1970s.

Having been a Spurs participant for 10 years, Kinnear moved to Brighton in 1975 but would only spend one season on the south coast earlier than calling time on his career.

Kinnear turned assistant manager of Al-Shabab in 1983 and had spells as boss of each India and Nepal, serving to the latter nation to a runner-up finish on the South Asian Video games.
