TENNIS icon Billie Jean King has led the tributes to highly-respected British coach Alan Jones, who has died 75.

The previous French and US Open semi-finalist was left "completely devastated", saying that he "had influenced the lives of so many" and was "an enormous in the tennis world".
Billie Jean King, winner of 12 Grand Slam singles titles, concurred with that sentiment and had deliberate to satisfy up with Jones at Wimbledon this summer time.
The American, 80, stated: "Our sport has lost a passionate and devoted coach.
"I all the time appeared forward to catching up with Alan at Wimbledon. Our ideas and prayers go out to his family. Might he relaxation in peace."
Jones worked with the likes of home-grown stars Durie, Lucie Ahl, Laura Robson, the late Elena Baltacha, Anne Keothavong and Jeremy Bates.
In 2017 Jones acquired a Particular Award from the British Tennis Journalists' Association to mark his 50 years of efficiency teaching and contribution to tennis.
Scott Lloyd, LTA Chief Government, stated: "The information of Alan's passing has crammed the tennis group with deep unhappiness.
"He was one of many pre-eminent coaches of our sport for nicely over half a century, coaching numerous British No1s, all the time with a eager eye on the longer term generations.
"Anybody who met him was left in little question about his ardour for the game and his want to develop British gamers for fulfillment at the very prime of the game. He will probably be sorely missed."
