A boy, 17, has died after falling into a river whereas driving an inflatable canoe in Larger Manchester.
The teenager acquired into problem along the 10-mile-long River Croal off Raikes Labe, Bolton, yesterday night.
Three different teenage boys have been 'concerned' in the incident, Manchester Evening News (MEN) reported.
Emergency providers have been referred to as at around 8pm – regardless of one of the best efforts from paramedics, the boy was pronounced lifeless at the scene.
A witness informed The Bolton News that they saw two youngsters 'frantically operating round' asking if individuals had seen their 'anyone in a west go well with'.
'It's a shock, poor lad, it is quiet round here,' he stated.
His dying just isn't being treated as suspicious.
The hearth service stated: 'At around 8pm on Tuesday 9 April, hearth crews have been referred to as to studies of a person in the water near Raikes Lane in Bolton.
'Two hearth engines from Bolton Central hearth station, in addition to the water incident unit from Heywood and the technical response unit from Leigh, shortly attended the scene.
'Firefighters recovered a 17-year-old male from the water but he sadly passed away on the scene.
'This was a tragic incident and our ideas are with the younger man's family and associates.'
Detective Inspector Stuart Woodhead added: 'That is a particularly upsetting and distressing incident for those concerned because of the tragic circumstances and we're continuing to help their loved ones presently.'
