David Moyes admits he does not know when Jarrod Bowen will return from damage, but he will certainly miss the Europa League trip to Bayer Leverkusen on Thursday night time.

The England ahead picked up a knee damage in West Ham's win at Wolves on Saturday after a heavy challenge from Joao Gomes.

Concerningly for Moyes, and for England boss Gareth Southgate, it isn't clear how critical the issue is, with the Hammers supervisor unable to provide a return date.

'Jarrod isn't with us. He's twisted his knee and there's some type of injury,' stated Moyes. 'We will't give any dates of when he is perhaps back, sadly.'

The Scot added: 'He's received an damage and he's not out there to play tomorrow night time. We're unsure about when he may return in the mean time.
