"Ange, I actually enjoyed these six months, aside from not enjoying at all. I really enjoyed the type of play, the fashion of coaching, I feel he has incredible coaches, and his staff talks have been great."
Dier also admitted he should have left Tottenham last summer time following the arrival of alternative Mickey van de Ven.
Dier, who was replaced by Radu Dragusin in January, added: "It was time for me to go away Tottenham on the time I did. It was in all probability six months too late if we're being trustworthy.
"I had a unbelievable time at Spurs and I left amicably which is one thing I hope to do in my life usually.
"I had an excellent relationship with the membership the whole time I was there, however it was the natural conclusion for me."
