A 31-YEAR-OLD man and a lady aged 65 have died in a huge blaze at their residence – with neighbours evacuated and a probe launched.
Firefighters scrambled to the house in Chesterfield, Derbyshire at 2.44am this morning after a neighbour heard a smoke alarm.

A lady managed to escape from the three-storey terraced house on Staunton Shut.
But a 65-year-old lady and a 31-year-old man have been sadly pronounced lifeless at the scene.
A variety of neighbouring properties have been evacuated as a security precaution and residents are staying with family and pals.
A joint police and hearth investigation is probing the reason for the hearth.
Anyone with info is requested to contact police quoting incident number 141 of seven April.
Derbyshire Hearth & Rescue's Nathan Stevens stated: "Early this morning hearth crews attended a house hearth where sadly two individuals have misplaced their lives.
"Crews from Chesterfield, Clay Cross, Staveley, and Dronfield attended the hearth.
"On arrival at the scene firefighters quickly deployed into the property to look and locate the occupants.
Group Manager Stevens stated: "Different crews tackled the hearth from outdoors.
"One occupant had managed to escape however tragically two adults have now been confirmed deceased.
"The thoughts of everybody at Derbyshire Hearth & Rescue Service are with the deceased, their household and associates at this distressing time."
