AN AMAZON shopper has claimed they have been scammed out of $1855 after buying a product on the platform.
Footage of the reported scam have been posted on the favored Reddit platform r/amazonprime.


Over 100,000 Amazon consumers use the platform to discuss products and share recommendation.
One consumer posted several footage of an NVIDIA GeForce RTX 4090 graphics processing unit that they'd bought.
The box was sealed in plastic and didn't look peculiar from the surface.
"Finally turned sufferer to a return scam, paid $1855 for a bag of flour," the disgruntled user wrote.
They offered 5 photographs of the box, including one that exhibits the processing unit is just not inside.
As an alternative, a nasty of flour is pictured as an alternative regardless of the field seeming to be unopened previous to the client's unboxing.
"The first purple flag was that Gigabyte graphics cards aren't shrink wrapped (they've by no means been, anybody can YouTube unboxing movies) but the weight felt high quality," the Amazon customer wrote.

The Reddit submit has over 2,000 upvotes and greater than 700 feedback.
